The Grand Cliff Top Track follows the cliff tops from South Leura to Wentworth Falls. More sheltered than the Prince Henry Cliff Walk that extends from Leura to Katoomba, this track offers lots of variety: long boardwalks crossing over hanging swamps, sidetracks to plunging lookouts, ferny nooks and deep gullies, not to mention the Conservation Hut offering refreshments at the walk’s end.

Grade: Easy/Medium
Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Distance: 2.3 kilometres one way (plus extra for lookouts)
Ascent/Descent: 110 metres descent, 125 metres ascent
Weather: Suitable for all conditions, quite special in the mist
Closest public transport: For the beginning of the walk, local bus 695 goes as far as Fitzroy St, 800 metres from the resort car park. At the walk’s end, local bus 685 goes from Fletcher Street (next to the Conservation Hut) all the way to Wentworth Falls railway station
