As of April 1 2020, vehicle access to the start of this track is closed due to Covid-19.

This windswept cliff top track leads through exposed heathland, swamps and gardens of wildflowers. If you’re new to the Blue Mountains, then this walk is great for getting a sense of the land, with views extending all the way down the Grose Valley and across to Mt Banks and Mt Tomah.

Time: 1 hour 15 minutes one way, 2 hours 30 minutes return
Distance: 6.2 kilometres return
Ascent/Descent: 150 metres descent, 130 metres ascent (one way)
Weather: In hot weather, avoid mid-morning and midday sun.
Closest public transport: At the start of the walk, Bus 698 runs as far as the Blue Mountains Heritage Centre, 400 metres away. At the end of the walk, the closest transport is St Andrews Ave, 2.5 kilometres away. Bus services are irregular.
